EIMA is back: a great showcase for the most avantgarde agricultural machines

10/14/2021

While the agricultural market is experiencing a new and important excitement after the most complicated period of the pandemic, the main international trade fair of 2021 dedicated to the sector is approaching: Eima International, the exhibition scheduled in Bologna, Italy , from Tuesday 19 to Saturday 23 October, returns to a face-to-face appointment after a preview, in November 2020, which was staged online due to the health emergency.

Almost 1,400 manufacturers will participate in the event scheduled in a few days, 350 of them from abroad. Exhibitors will show their updated product lines in thirteen sectors of specialization and in five thematic shows in which the exhibition is divided (Eima Components, Eima Green, Eima Energy, Eima Idrotech and Eima Digital). The strength of the event is, as always, technological innovation combined with the display of the latest operating machines and equipment.  Solutions for working the soil, crop treatments, collection and transport of products, irrigation and breeding - located within the fair within sectors II, IV, V, VI, VII, X and XI – will be satisfying any agricultural process requirement.

"The 44th edition of Eima - explains FederUnacoma, the Italian federation of manufacturers that organizes the exhibition - takes place at a dynamic moment for the industry, which records sales increases both in Italy and worldwide". The "Barometer" survey carried out by FederUnacoma shows that in the first six months of the year 83% of companies recorded increases in turnover compared to the previous year, compared to a modest 6 % of companies which, on the other hand, show a decline in business volumes. Among the profitable companies, a high percentage (54%) recorded increases of more than 20%. The positive vibe should also be confirmed in the second half of the year, although with less accentuated trends. Barometer indicates that 67% of brands foresee increases in turnover while 27% predicts a stable trend. Data that assume a positive balance at the end of 2021.

The replacement of machinery and equipment currently in use in Italian farms, but not only, with new generation solutions is a necessary process, because the economic sustainability and environmental compatibility at the jobsite has become a fundamental element in agricultural activity. It is no coincidence that the machines exhibited at Eima feature electronic control systems, monitoring sensors, Isobus technologies capable of optimizing the relationship between the tractor and the attached or towed equipment. New technologies are developed to make the use of machines more and more performing and environmentally friendly.

"The market is in a great excitement - explain FederUnacoma - and companies are increasingly adopting sensors and electronic devices to make vehicles work better, consume less and optimize aspects related to the use of equipment in the field. We look forward to meeting you face to face and in total safety at the fairground in Bologna”.

In this context, the presence of Emiliana Serbatoi, leader in the production of tanks and systems for the storage, transport and supply of fuel, as well as for the control and management systems of refueling, is also part of the event. The company will be in the same location of last event- hall 16, stand A1 - with the aim of providing customers and visitors with the best solutions for a safe and efficient refueling of agricultural vehicles. Among the wide range of products, we will focus our attention on the innovative Carrytank® 900 + 100, a combined transportable tank for diesel and AdBlue®, and on the Tank Fuel line to store up to 9 thousand liters of diesel.
