CAMPOGALLIANO (MO)- Emiliana Serbatoi does not stop to support the realities engaged to oppose Coronavirus. In fact, in recent days the company located in Campogalliano granted one of its products, a versatile transportable fuel tank, to the Italian Red Cross of Sassuolo. With this tangible gesture of solidarity, Emiliana Serbatoi on the one hand tried to make a concrete contribution to the association and on the other hand to stay close to those who daily work on the territory and to the community.  
The company, founded 38 years ago by Giancarlo and Gian Lauro Morselli, made this decision following the request of the volunteers who addressed to Emiliana Serbatoi – leader on the international markets in the production of tanks and storage systems and back from participation in an online fair for the American market- asking for a quote to buy a transportable tank. <<But there are certain situations in which the economic aspect becomes less important- the President Gian Lauro Morselli explains- and therefore, when I was informed of the request by the Red Cross, we decided to grant the product for free. Rather, it has been an honour for me and my colleagues. In fact, we are always close to those who “devote” themselves in favour of the community, especially in this hard period for the medical emergency, as the volunteers of Red Cross do every day. The contribution of the association towards the community is fundamental, both for the support to people infected by the virus and to fight against the pandemic, and for the essential rescue activities provided on the territory>>.
The product in question is a 220-litre model of the Carrytank range for Diesel; made in polyethylene, it is equipped with an electric battery pump and automatic fuel nozzle. It is a transportable tank that will be used for the “on site” supply of ambulances and operating vehicles. The Sassolese committee of Red Cross, one of the most active in the province with the presidency of Carlo Alberto Venturelli, picked up the tank in recent days in the company’s headquarter in Campogalliano, that it has also another headquarter in San Donà di Piave in Venice.
The concession to the Italian Red Cross is another action of Emiliana Serbatoi in favour of realities engaged to fight against Covid. In the recent months the company offered some models of Emilsprayer, mobile tank for the disinfestation of places and superfaces, first to the local medical network (Baggiovara’s Hospital, Policlinico, 118, Croce Bleu e Croce Rossa of Modena) and then to the association “fratres mutinae”, with the aim of facilitating, through the use of these products, the fundamental operations of sanitization of ambulances.
